you wish (or not) to hear.

A broad-brush configuration is available via the mutator configuration screen.
This screen should be sufficient for most people.

Finer control of the messages broadcast by the bots can be achieved by editing
the mutator's INI file. Be warned that accepting the config within the
configuration screen will overwrite any custom INI settings.


Installation

I apologise for being too lazy to create an auto-installer for the mod. The ZIP
contains files in the following structure:

README_TauntControl.txt
UTGame/Config/UTMutator_TauntControl.ini
UTGame/Published/CookedPC/Localization/INT/UTMutator_TauntControl.int
UTGame/Published/CookedPC/Script/UTMutator_TauntControl.u
UTGame/Published/CookedPC/UTMutator_TauntControl_UI.upk

The ZIP file can be safely unzipped into the "My Games/Unreal Tournament 3"
directory. Alternatively you can move the files into position from the ZIP
file yourself.



How to use

Just add the "Taunt Control" mutator to the list of mutators when starting a
new game. You can configure the mutator by highlighting it an selecting the
"configure" option at the bottom of the screen. Use the "Accept" button to
save your changes, or the "Back" button to discard them.

The options are as follows:

Allow taunts
Turns off all taunts except the weapon specific taunts.
e.g. "And stay down".

Allow mature taunts
Turns off mature taunts (a very "PC" view has been taken as to what
constitutes a "mature taunt") e.g. "Bullshit".

Allow weapon taunts
Turns off weapon specific taunts e.g. "Green is your colour".

Allow combat updates
Enables combat updates such as "man down" and "I need backup".

Allow status updates
Allows status updates such as "In position", and "Roger".

Allow friendly fire messages
Turns off friendly fire messages such as "I'm on your team idiot".

Allow objective updates
Allows objective updates such as "enemy flag carrier is here".



Known Bugs

None at this time.

mutators you used and please try to describe how the bug can be reproduced. If
you would like to provide a translation for the values within the INT file then
I will gladly update the archive with the translation.
